He Who Might Not Be Adopted of the Day: The Blue Cross Centre in Southampton has expressed a real concern that a stray cat named Charlie, who had his ear tips and nose removed to prevent the spread of skin cancer, might never be adopted due to his uncanny resemblance to Harry Potter villain Lord Voldemort.

“Charlie is an adorable gentle big chunky chap, who loves fuss, lots of tickles and cuddles,” Animal welfare assistant Marie Loveridge says in a press release. “Charlie just loves human company and would happily be around you all day.”

If you’d like to inquire about adopting the little “Voldemog,” you can contact The Blue Cross via their website.

This cat is still adorable. If you’re seriously turned away from adopting a cat because he resembles a fictional fucking villain, you probably aren’t mentally stable enough to take care of an animal anyway. I hope he finds a nice home.
